Light and airy with touches of France, Gascon is an idyllic place to spend your holiday. There is plenty of room to bring the grandparents and children.
Situated halfway up a rolling wild-flower meadow with stunning views across the Dorset countryside, Gascon offers a retreat like no other; sit back and relax outside to soak up the glorious Dorset sunshine, or snuggle up beside the wood-fired stove listening to raindrops patter on the canvas overhead.
There are wonderful walks to follow from Gascon to ancient woodlands, historic towns and even a castle or two. If you look hard enough, you may even find a pub en route!
Furnished with a king-sized bedroom, enclosed double cabin bed and comfortable twin room, Gascon can accommodate up to 6 people, allowing you to share your stay with the whole family. There's even hot running water in both the bathroom and bespoke kitchen.
The Gascon is a rare breed of domestic pig which has survived in the more mountainous and remote regions of France. In the Midi-Pyrenees region, the Gascon survives as probably the most ancient breed of pig in France. And guess what? It's black!
